J.J. Barea will stay in Dallas, agrees to deal with Mavericks

The deal is reportedly for two years and $5.6 million. Barea have agreed to a deal keeping him in Dallas, as indicated by Puerto Rico’s El Nuevo Dia. Free agency is far from over, so it will be interesting to see what Cuban does with the absence of a starting point guard. He returned to Dallas last season after the Minnesota Timberwolves bought out the remainder of the four-year deal he signed in 2011.
