As for the cameras, it will feature a 16 MP back camera along with a 13 MP front camera. Weibo has published a snapshot of the upcoming Xiaomi Michigan 5, accompanied by the Xiaomi Michigan 5 Plus. The height and the width of the device is 155.1 x 77.6 mm and it weighs 160 grams. In addition, the new handset from Xiaomi will pack an impressive 3,000mAh battery unit. Xiaomi Libra is the name being given to the smartphone, though we doubt the company would find inspiration in naming its smartphone based on a zodiac sign.
Now, Xiaomi Mi5 Plus has been recently spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, a new report confirms.
As of this writing, the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus release date has not been declared yet. However, the Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to cost 2,399 yuan ($386) upon release, so it seems realistic that the Mi5 Plus will be around $100 more, on account of its size and next-gen chipset.
KJuma has further revealed that its bigger counterpart, the Mi5 Plus, will feature a full metal body and a larger 5.7-inch 2K display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Plus version, however, will not only upgrade on the chipset, but also in the camera department, as it is listed with a gigantic 23 MP shooter, as well as a 12 MP selfie cam.
All of the above will be powered by a 3,500 mAh battery.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi released several devices, two of which depict quality and affordability – the Xiaomi Michigan Note Pro, and the Michigan Note.
