Real Madrid will not sell Sergio Ramos

It is understood that United are maintaining their resolute attitude that keeper De Gea and Real Madrid defender Ramos will not both be at the Bernabeu next season. “He’s a symbol of Real Madrid, and has given the club a lot”. All of United’s non-internationals have already started tests and initial preparations for the upcoming campaign. The Dutchman is a big fan of the French worldwide and he thinks that losing David De Gea wouldn’t be that bad if he can wrap up 26-year-old player before the team reconvenes ahead of their pre-season tour to the United States.

However, if a deal can be made that brings Ramos to United for De Gea and a lower transfer fee, then it definitely makes sense that it happens.

The 50-year-old says that the primary objective for boss Louis van Gaal this summer should be to keep striker Robin van Persie and goalkeeper David De Gae at the club. De Gea has the potential to become the new Spanish goalkeeping great, and although it may seem unusual to suggest, his ability to adapt back home may determine how close he manages to reach the old great’s record.

United reason that it will cost them upwards of £30million to buy a world-class goalkeeper to replace De Gea and that they value Ramos at around that price.

United have a valuation of 25 million pounds and above for De Gea and will expect Real to match it. But United’s pursuit of Real defender Sergio Ramos has complicated proceedings. “Wherever he is, it’s going to a massive plus for that club”. He subsequently moved to Chelsea a year later.

United’s defence remains in need of work and the likes of Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett, Rafael and even Marcos Rojo could learn from having a player of Ramos’ pedigree alongside them.

Is he really worth all that money
