All the details for Street Fighter V’s beta
Capcom will be launching a beta for Street Fighter V exclusively on PlayStation 4 later this month.

Street Fighter V will be released in early 2016 on PC and PlayStation 4.
Capcom has said it intends for the beta to be the “largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history”. V-Skill replaces Focus Attacks from Street Fighter IV, and executes special moves that differ for each character, all of which can be deployed at any time by pressing the medium punch and kick buttons together. Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, and M. Bison will be available from the beginning, while Cammy and Birdie will be added on July 25.
However, Cammy and Birdie will only appear on Saturday, July 25, while the other four will be available as soon as the beta period begins. While the players wait for their match they will train in the Grid. Giving some young kid a taste of victory in a big public display might lead them to one day enter EVO with a bandanna, a badass fight-stick and the kind of button mastery that would make a professional copywriter jealous. When players will start the game and go past the start screen, they will choose a character and be put into training mode until an opponent can be found online. Unfortunately, no type of local versus mode will be available for the beta, as it’s meant to test the game’s online fighting.
Each of the stages has been inspired by various locales throughout the world with the Forgotten Waterfall’s inspiration being directly pulled from New Zealand. The video then goes on to not-so-subtly hint at the reveal of Street Fighter V’s version of Blanka, a Street Fighter series staple who is native to Brazil.
In Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, Asia and Japan, users must sign up or apply for beta acccess either by visiting a website or downloading a beta test ticket. PC owners can gain access to a similar online beta in the Autumn by pre-ordering the game on Steam. Those selected will be emailed a code for redemption.
