Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to co-host SNL
Both Fey and Poehler separately have hosted “SNL” before although I believe this is their first time together as co’s. Chance the Rapper will appear alongside Hemsworth in his musical guest debut. Matthew McConaughey hosts the show this Saturday, with musical guest Adele.

The appearance will mark Tina Fey’s fifth guest-hosting gig and follows her appearances in 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2013. They were of course a legendary co-anchor team on “Weekend Update” back in the day.
On November 17, NBC announced that the comedic duo and best friends will be hosting the December 19 show to close 2015 on “SNL” in the best possible way.
To kick off the month, Ryan Gosling will host on December 5 with R&B artist Leon Bridges. Two of “Saturday Night Live’s” most famous alums are returning to Studio 8H.
On December 12, Chris Hemsworth will return for his second time as host. Poehler and Fey’s comedy “Sisters” opens on December 18.
In fact, both ladies have made guest appearances and hosted SNL since their departures, and with their new movie, Sisters, coming up, it makes sense they would host the show together for the first time.

Fey and Poehler also co-hosted the Golden Globes three years in a row from 2013 to 2015. McKinnon debuted on “SNL” in 2012, while Jones is a comparative newbie, having just been named a cast member on the NBC program late past year.
