Scream Queens: “Ghost Stories” Review
A return to form for the series. She notices a wound on his hand, one that she assumes was caused by when she stabbed the Red Devil in the hand-that’s right, Boone is the Red Devil (which we, you know, already knew), and Zayday’s finally cracked the case! “Ghost Stories” is kind of a mess.

“Ghost Stories” definitely wants us to think that Chanel #1 is the other killer, but any time it pushes a character that far into the spotlight it makes me think it’s someone else. Also, who will die this week? Boone borrows a “date shirt” from Chad to try and woo Zayday into getting with him – turns out, he’s not gay – by turning her shirt compliment into this amazingly bad pick-up line: “You know what it’s made out of?” Considering there are many weeks until the finale of this season, chances are we won’t find out any time soon.
In an earlier episode of Scream Queens, we saw Ariana Grande return as a ghost.
Boone asks Zayday out, but she is immediately skeptical of his excuse (the whole, “I’m a ghost!” thing is pretty flimsy). However, instead of alleviating the fears of the members due to a serial killer at large, she will tell them a horrendous ghost tale. However, Latin Post noted that she might also learn that the baby was kidnapped by her mom, which could mean she is actually the bathtub baby.
Grace isn’t buying it though and remains convinced that she is the baby girl who was born that night, after Chanel told her that her late mother was drunk and acting dangerously and explained how her father Wes Gardner worked out a custody deal.
In the new episode 10 press release: THE RED DEVIL CARVES UP A MEMORABLE THANKSGIVING ON AN ALL-NEW “SCREAM QUEENS” TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, ON FOX.
Anyhow, the next episode is entitled “Thanksgiving”, and it should not take much to really figure out what part of the story is going to be about.
SCREAM QUEENS has always been a horror satire, playing off the genre’s obvious tropes and pitfalls.

Though Scream Queens still feels like it can’t move the plot forward quickly without giving away the killer, “Ghost Stories” provided a few fun new details without being completely focused on the murder mystery. Could it be one of the Chanels? Better yet, this week’s episode was loaded with Chad.
