In the aftermath of the devastating terror attacks on Paris on Friday, the identifies of a few of the victims are slowly becoming known.

Mr Alexander’s family have released a statement, saying: “Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle, he was everyone’s best friend – generous, amusing and fiercely loyal”.
“Knowing how much we loved the capital and spending time with him, Nick asked us to move in and without even really thinking, we packed all that we had and joined him for the first two years of our new life in the city”. In his hometown, Amiens, he was an avid follower of the local field hockey team.

A 23-year-old American, a student at California State University, Long Beach, is among the dead.
“His back was to me and I couldn’t see what happened and I tried to keep him talking and then I tried to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and they [the gunmen] were just sort of in the shadows and they would shoot if anyone said anything”. She was fond of music and culture and had loved to draw ever since she was a child, Delphine De Peretti said. “She was a shining star, and she brought joy, happiness, laughter to everybody she worked with and her students, her classmates”.
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said a Spanish citizen, Juan Alberto Gonzalez Garrido, was killed in the Paris attacks.

His family attended St Andrew’s Church, in Weeley, and rector David Newman said: “The Alexander family are a long-standing and well-respected family here”. They both were at the concert, but became separated amid the mayhem.
