Alexandra Daddario Joins The Rock In Baywatch
Dwayne Johnson revealed Wednesday that his San Andreas costar Alexandra Daddario has joined the cast of the film based on the ’90s TV series.

She was whispered to be among the few, the proud, the fearless, listed in the running for a coveted spot in the new Baywatch reboot.
Now the two are reunited for what many expect to be another hit. It’s understood Daddario will be the love interest for Zac Efron’s character and, of course, will be playing a lifeguard.
Casting on the Baywatch movie continues, and this thing is actually shaping up to be pretty darn promising. Although here’s hoping there’s no romantic link between Johnson and Daddario, who played father and daughter in the disaster pic. The Rock took to Instagram to announce the news and also confirm that the role of CJ Parker – played by Pamela Anderson in the original – is forthcoming.
Plot details are thin so far, but all reports indicate the film will be a comedy, and it is strongly expected to once again be set on the beaches of California. Having already cast Johnson and We Are Your Friends heartthrob Zac Efron as two Californian lifeguards, the addition of Daddario is a major coup for the production, and the actress’ first foray into blockbuster territory since Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

Johnson’s R-rated movie will be a recreation the TV show.
