CPS responds after substitute teacher gives students Chief Keef quiz
A Chicago elementary school substitute teacher and the school that hired her are under fire after teaching sixth graders at Fiske Elementary about controversial local rapper Chief Keef. Actually, Keef was not shot in his run-in with officers, but they did shoot at him after he allegedly pointed a gun at them.

“What happened to studying notes, playing instruments?”
However, a few parents of Chicago Public School students were shocked (and pissed) to find out that their kids had been spending class time learning about Chief Keef.
Can you imagine being in school, as a student, and getting a quiz on your favorite rapper? Sanders said her son told her the teacher assigned the biographies.
Sanders says the principal’s lack of oversight is costly to the students and is upset that her son had to be exposed to such tasteless music. “Because we’re not used to, as parents, seeing our children bring home rap artists and hip-hop artists and gang artists for school work assignments”. The lessons occurred during a music class run by a substitute teacher.
Katrina Sanders hosts a Youtube broadacast and blasted the administration in a recent video that includes images of the quiz and questions. “While teachers have flexibility in making assignments, CPS requires them to provide age-appropriate material in the classroom”.
Officials with Fiske Elementary declined to comment Wednesday.
The principal is reaching out to parents concerned about the lesson, according to CPS.

As you can see below, there’s no debating whether or not the rapper-who blew up in 2012 after Kanye West, along with Pusha T, Big Sean and Jadakiss, remixed his viral drill smash “I Don’t Like”-was the focus of the examination”.
