Danish police have called off a bomb scare at Copenhagen’s worldwide airport that prompted an hour-long evacuation of hundreds of passengers. “There were no bombs”, police wrote.

No flights were cancelled as departures and arrivals were moved to other terminals of the Nordic region’s largest airport.

Airport officials and police have confirmed the terminal has since been reopened. The suspects, however, denied having an actual bomb with them, according to statements from Copenhagen police.

The evacuation lasted for around an hour, it’s reported. A police officer within the airport reportedly yelled “everybody get out”, which the newspaper said was followed by panic.

“Apparently, they are friends, though one was going to Paris and the other was flying to Frankfurt (Germany)”, he said.
