The iOS 9.2 update is confirmed thanks to a beta but Apple hasn’t outlined an iOS 9.2 release date for those outside of those lucky enough to be housed inside the confines of its Cupertino campus.

The Peek option means that users can preview the content of a certain app without having to click on it while the Pop feature on the other hand means that you actually start to leaf though the desired content. The latter functionality will require a stronger press though. The new update to iOS adds 3D Touch capabilities. There are also a few bug fixes on the app.
Peek, as its name suggests, will allow you to get over-the-top view of everything and zoom-out, whereas the Pop function will zoom-in to provide a better view of the in-app options.
Links that you share or receive will now include a rich preview. Whatsapp is a sharing platform and several third party apps are yet to implement the 3D Touch feature to their apps while being used with Whatsapp.
WhatsApp is the most using messaging app, which is updating its features day-by-day, recently it updated the 3D Touch gestures to iPhone 6s for WhatsApp 2.12.9. It doesn’t matter if you’re still using an old iPhone since the app brings a whole new display with rich previews.

The company says that it has also redesigned the Settings tab, and include the ability to view all the messages that user have starred under Starred Messages. Developers have been able to tap into this technology from the get go and many have already updated their apps. Before the update, this tab didn’t really stand out much, but the new colorful layout of the tab makes it really appealing.
