11-Year-Old Reading Mean Comments About Himself Will Bring You To Tears
Logan says he wants to discourage bullies and encourage those who have also been targets.

After the video was posted to YouTube, Fairbanks began receiving support from others telling him to “stay strong”. What possesses a person to look at a child and write, in a public forum, something like “I hope he dies” is an absolute mystery to me.
“I hope that people don’t bully other people online anymore and that this helps”, he said near the end of the video.
“I’ve asked my dad to do this video for two reasons”. “I knew he had seen some comments, but I also knew that he hadn’t seen anywhere near the worst of them”. “And to show people saying the mean things that they actually affect who they are about”.
Remember the viral video of the dad scaring the life out of his son in the shower? But because he’s a total dude, he’s not about to let the cyber bullies get the best of him. “[B]ut he [Logan] insisted that if there was a chance it could help someone then why not face his online bullies and try”, his dad wrote on his YouTube account.
“I knew the depths of how terrible people could get online, especially behind a screen where no one would know who they were”, Josh Fairbanks said.

But his most viewed video, by far, was one he shared in May, in which he sneaks up on Logan while he dances to Flo Rida’s son Goin’ Down while taking a shower. “I feel like the video is doing a lot of good”.
