Hannibal Buress is ready to answer ‘Why?’
While Buress may want to distance himself from his role in the Cosby controversy, he can’t control the timing of Cosby’s latest revelation, which comes as his new TV show premieres on Comedy Central. “With Hannibal Buress” will be a mixture of sketch comedy and man-on-the-street interviews.

For years, Buress has topped lists of up-and-coming comedians, and now he’s finally getting his own show. Fitting, considering that his stand-up is at its best when he’s commenting on, or trying to understand, the absurdities of life.
“With Hannibal Buress.” The show, which airs at 10:30 p.m. on Comedy Central, features Buress (“Broad City”, “The Eric Andre Show”), most famously known (at this particular moment, anyway) for his concert rant about Bill Cosby’s (reported) history of sexual predation, which went viral, effectively toppling the legendary comedian’s career.
In a monologue taped before a studio audience, the low-key Buress mused about topics including Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, Greece’s financial woes and the women’s World Cup.
“Why’d you guys fire Jon Stewart?” It was Buress who brought decades of rape allegations back to light when a bit he did about Cosby was filmed and picked up by the media.
“No one’s friends in comedy, Hannibal!”

“First, there’s trouble in the MidWest”, Buress reads from the prompter, before a frustrated producer prompts him that it’s the Middle East. “How do you know I’m not talking about the Bulls?”
