Apple mulls record breaking production for next iPhone
Apple is likely anticipating continued strong demand for the new iPhones.

Apple’s new iPhone record attempt is in lieu with the company’s 1.8% dip in overall shares on the Nasdaq afternoon trading amounting to $123.50. That is more than Apple ordered for the launch of its new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus which featured larger screens. The company sold 72 million iPhones during the fourth quarter of 2014.
The changes in the iPhone models expected to be released later this year will be less noticeable than last year’s.
The iPhone 6s is expected to ship with just one wholly new feature: Force Touch with haptic feedback.
Apple debuted Force Touch earlier this year on the Apple Watch and MacBook. The latest feature developed by Apple senses the level of force exerted on a phone’s display thus enabling it to distinguish between a light tap and firmer press and then respond accordingly. However, there is also a fair chance that the reported plunge in demand for Apple Watch may be overblown.

As far as the design goes, there are a couple of leak images that suggest the rumored iPhone 7 will follow the iPhone 6 design. Storage capacities will remain at 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB. The company is also considering new colours for the phone, alongside the current grey, silver and gold options.
If the numbers hold up it would be the largest initial iPhone production in history, beating the iPhone 6 production volume by about 10 million units.
Milunovich raised his iPhone shipment forecast for fiscal Q3 to 51 million units from 50 million, saying the company has slightly increased channel inventory.
It is also considering a third manufacturer – Wistron Corp. – to build the iPhone 6S, according to the Journal report.

Aside from these, the rumored Apple iPhone is said to be powered by Apple’s A9 processor with a 2 GB of random access memory (RAM) and an improved Qualcomm LTE chip. And that production has already begun – or at least some components for the handset are already being produced in large quantities.
