“Do You Trust Me?” Muslim Man Giving Free Hugs On Streets Asks
A blindfolded Muslim man conducts a social experiment in Paris..

So one Muslim man chose to break down a few of the barriers and fears that are helping to spread xenophobia – by standing with his arms wide open on Republic Square in Paris on Monday evening. “If yes, hug me”.
The response was overwhelming as queues of people embraced him in a show of solidarity against terrorist group ISIS.
In hopes to convey his own, equally palpable sense of violation and loss, the man stood over placards that read, “I’m a Muslim, but I’m told that I’m a terrorist”. Afterwards, he removed his blindfold to deliver a message.
But after such attacks on a horrendous scale, one question lingered on – Do you hate Muslims, in general?
“I’m a Muslim, but that doesn’t make me a terrorist – I never killed anyone”. “We are all human no matter what religion you hold, I really respect you”, another said.
Feeling the unity, one person commented on the video: ‘My deepest empathy goes to the families of the victims.
And in an emotional message he added: “I want to tell you “Muslim” doesn’t necessarily mean “terrorist”.
