Parents are complaining about a Minions-themed toy, which they got for their kids with a purchase of a Happy Meal, having a dirty mouth.
“I don’t think myself as being very intelligent, but I’m certainly not that dumb”, Coffin says.
The fast-food restaurant introduced a Happy Meal on July 3 with toys inspired by the movie Minions, and reports started trickling out after that of parents picking up on the phrase.
Parents and grandparents everywhere are speaking out though and saying that they do hear something that should not be coming out of a toy made for children.
“Minions speak “Minionese, ‘ which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds”, the statement said”.
One YouTube user created a video with a recording of one of the toys, which he believes exclaims profanity.

Meanwhile, another family who bought one of the Minion toys in a McDonald’s branch in Longwood told Channel 9’s WFTV that the caveman version of the Happy Meal also brought up the same issues. The burger chain said any words it may sound like are just a coincidence. The toy in question says three phrases when its tapped on a hard surface.

And since human beings interpret their environment based on experience, it seems unlikely that many toddlers receiving the toy will actually hear the words “WTF”.
