Daniel Craig’s Kissing Scenes In ‘Spectre’ Have Been Reduced By Half
On one side, the “Kiss of Love” protest that had garnered global attention is back in news (for very wrong reasons though), and on the other, the latest James Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig in the title role, has got a green signal from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC), but after four cuts – two verbal, two visual! Censorship authorities often order filmmakers to chop scenes and films with graphic content can be barred completely.

After “diluting” Tamasha, the Censor Board have been ridiculed by Twitterati for turning its sanskari claws towards James Bond and his new film SPECTRE. The visuals are two kissing scenes in the film which have now been lessened to half. The same has been cut short by the CBFC owing to its length and intensity.
“Pahlaj Nihalani has always functioned on his own accord and I don’t subscribe to his curtailing of creative rights…”
Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes, releases in theatres across India on Friday. “I feel it’s a mockery of the freedom of a filmmaker…Nihalani as chairman of the censor Board can’t behave like an official spokesperson of a political party”, he tweeted.

You can present him as Bond, James Sitaram Krishnakumar Bond, on the grounds that he’s sanskari now.
