Turkish police have detained eight ISIL-linked suspects who arrived at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport from Casablanca, police said Wednesday.

Turkish state run Anadolu news agency reports they told authorities they had hotels, but police checked into it and it was false. But police said that this appeared untrue after verification with the hotel. The lads have been allegedly planning emigrate by means of Europe disguised as refugees, in accordance to the news source service.
The authorities in Turkey have detained more than 1,000 people on suspected links to Islamist militants since the beginning of the year, in raids that have been stepped up since Ankara declared what it described as a “synchronised war on terror” in July. Around 300 have been formally charged.
The map details the route from Istanbul to Germany, travelling through Serbia and Hungary, including details of how to catch smuggler boats across the Mediterranean before arriving on the Greek island of Kos.
Police also detained 41 Moroccan nationals at Ataturk Airport earlier this month after they were flagged by expert profilers at the airport.

The arrest of the eight suspected ISIS members comes less than a week after one of the deadliest terror attacks in European history, when over 129 were killed and hundreds injured after ISIS-affiliated jihadists conducted several attacks throughout Paris, France.
