Manchester City have been dealt another blow regarding the fitness of midfield play-maker Samir Nasri, with the French worldwide now ruled out of action for a further three months after yet another injury setback.

The Frenchman has not featured for City since coming on as a second-half substitute in the 5-1 Premier League win over Bournemouth on October 17.
Such hopes have, however, been scotched, with the former Marseille and Arsenal man announcing that he will not return until February.
The France global, however, gave a timeframe for his return on social media on Wednesday night.
He did not reveal details of his latest injury, but posted a picture of himself on crutches on his Instagram page with the message: “What doesn’t kill you make you stronger”.

However, according to Manchester Evening News, Pellegrini may recover Sergio Aguero and David Silva for the game against Liverpool, while Vincent Kompany may also be available despite his scare with Belgium.
