Lauren Murray has spoken out about her time in the X Factor house, calling it “Big Brother meets Glee meets Prison”.
Well Lauren isn’t the only one feeling the pressure, as it was revealed that 4 Impact Singer Celina collapsed ahead of the latest live show.
In fact the filming was so intense that Lauren could predict what the producers wanted, ‘Every time I get a tear, I’m like: “Get a camera out, mate”.
On a roll, Lauren also pointed out the cray-cray nature of filming within the house, saying there’s a swimming pool there for the contestants’ use, but they’re not allowed in it unless there’s a lifeguard on duty.
Addressing speculation that she had quit the house owing to “diva” behaviour, the pretty brunette crooner told The Mirror: ‘What people don’t understand is that behind closed doors I’ve got my Mum on my mind as well as the show. But they said it was fine for Che to jump in with all his clothes on. It’s not a prison. “Obviously it’s the name of the game and it’s an incredible platform so I just had to go along with it”. It’s a big experience. I had a couple of days chilling at home.
Lauren was said to be struggling to cope when Kiera left the competition.
Lauren also recently opened up about being admitted to a psychiatric unit after her father passed away when she was aged 11.
She explained: “I’m actually still on anti-depressants”.
