Sanders Suddenly Interested in Hillary’s Emails As Her Lead Widens

Sanders opposed the 1993 Brady bill, which established federal background checks and a waiting period for potential gun owners.

Likely Democratic voters in SC overwhelmingly support Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic presidential nominee, according to the latest Winthrop Poll.

“This is a problem, it’s a danger, it’s a threat everywhere in our country”, Ms Clinton said.

Sanders got a roar of approval from the Democratic audience and a nod and smile from Clinton. “I did not say, ‘End the investigation.’ That’s silly”.

Sanders didn’t use the phrase “urban” until a little later, bickering again about guns, but this time with rival Martin O’Malley. Sanders and I have a disagreement on guns and gun safety is something that voters need to consider.

Journalists and pundits quickly latched onto the quote as a potentially important shift for Sanders, who has trailed Clinton by wide margins in national polls, and a sign that he might be starting to attack the frontrunner.

‘I’ve been told to stop, and I quote, “shouting about gun violence”. “First of all I’m not shouting”.

Despite ascendancy with Democrats – particularly after a strong debate performance, her marathon testimony on Capitol Hill regarding the Benghazi controversy and Vice President Joe Biden’s decision not to launch a White House bid – Clinton has little to show for her successful news cycles when it comes to the electorate at large.

Now that Hillary Clinton has expanded her lead in the Democratic race for the primary, her closest competitor Bernie Sanders is suddenly interested in talking about her “damn” emails. Eighty percent of blacks said they plan to vote for the former secretary of state.

“People will tell you that – it’s just the simple truth”, he said. Never explaining to voters what she clearly knows, if national polling on hypothetical match-ups was accurate before each Party actually nominated their candidate, Mitt Romney would be President today. In response, Sanders has been criticizing Clinton’s record.

“I probably can and will do better in drawing a contrast”, Sanders said.

Among African-American voters she had an even higher percentage at 80%. Many in a focus group of undecided Democratic women – so-called “Walmart moms”- held in Des Moines this week questioned her trustworthiness and loyalty, describing her as “shady”, “shifty” and “sold out”.

“I’m just not well known in the African-American community”, he said in an interview with NPR. The Sanders campaign has made a big show of promising not to go “negative” in this campaign.

As for the other GOP candidates, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Sen.

“How can you be serious about saying you want to combat climate change and [still] have doubts about whether you want to support the Keystone pipeline or not?” asked Sanders, his voice rising in incredulity.
