At this moment, the 40 year-old woman has no idea that a gun is inches from her head, in fact all she can see is a pair of shoes, and she’s too frightened to look up, The Daily Mail reports.

The footage shows a man pointing an assault rifle, seemingly point-blank, at a woman crouched in hiding.

Newly released CCTV footage of the terrorist attack on one of the restaurants in Paris has revealed the level of horror and devastation faced by the victims.

Starting off shooting from across the road, the gunman can be seen suddenly approaching the door of the restaurant and, in a chilling moment, raising his rifle to shoot a woman at point-blank range.

The Daily Mail reported that the woman who had the gun pointed at her was a 40-year-old who had gone to the pizzeria for dinner and a glass of wine.

The gunman’s attention is drawn to two women who are lying under a table just outside the entrance.

After disappearing out of the frame, the gunman comes back to the terrace and aims his gun towards the ground before running back into the street and disappearing from view.

Also a 20-year-old waitress was also seen taking cover inside the bar as thye militant started firing on her. This video appears to be the first one in which Islamic State militant was directly seen firing on innocent people enjoying their weekend.

Other angles of the video show the cafe in a typically busy state as diners enjoy an evening out.

The three men on the rampage – Abdeslam and his suicide bomber brother Ibrahim, as well as a third gunman – are thought to have killed 36 people at four bars and restaurants in Paris.
