Plot concept: Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with a few very familiar faces.

They also report that the movie’s director JJ Abrams called Daniel ahead of their screening.

Daniel Fleetwood, just 31-years old, tragically suffers from a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Fleetwood and his wife have been documenting his health on social media and he posted an update in September, saying he won’t survive for long.

The #ForceForDaniel viral online campaign even got the support of Star Wars actors Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), as well as newbie John Boyega. On Thursday Daniel’s dying wish was granted, and he was able to screen the movie. A new worldwide trailer has been released and reveals never-before-seen footage of the film! Lastly I want to thank ALL the fantastic people who helped make this happen, thank you beyond words!!!

The momentum around the newest “Star Wars” film got a little more intense Friday, when an unexpected trailer hit the web and the Internet freaked out. In 2013, he granted a similar wish to a Star Trek fan, Daniel Craft, who died shortly after watching a rough cut of Star Trek Into Darkness.
