It didnt seem suspicious until later, when the LAX employee heard from a coworker that none of the pilots were on board the plane yet. Police searched the plane and terminal.
“Once the aircraft is cleared, the flight will continue on” to its original destination at John F. Kennedy worldwide Airport in NY, the JetBlue statement said. All other operations at LAX are operating normally, the statement said.

No passengers were aboard the plane at the time, but “out of an abundance of caution” the aircraft and its luggage were put through another security screening, JetBlue said.
