All the coaches admired the progress Roberts had made already during the course of the show. She accompanied herself on the guitar in a seductive, impressive performance – one of the most original of the night. However, once Top 9 week on December 8 comes, 5 contestants will be eliminated all at once in a single episode. “That was a moment where I was feeling just as bad as I feel today, and why did I keep it up?” She specifically notes, “I love watching you sing. You have a tender style”. You look at the song and you go ‘That was a red flag. The next contestant who was saved from being dumped was Jeffery Austin. He did it again with James Bay’s “Let It Go”. And Shelton said his vocal strength and flawless pitch could position him for a win.
Bukowski’s performance clearly impressed Adam Levine when he praised her for her significant improvement.
Her return to “The Voice” should be good news for Christina Aguilera, but rumors are now claiming that the diva is fearing that producers will cut her from the show at the last minute.
Evan McKeel (Team Pharrell): I don’t really get the appeal of McKeel. He gave a completely stripped down performance, starting off acapella, and then transitioning into playing the piano, while singing with so much heart. However, he is wearing shades indoors and just on another level of cool, so who am I to judge. Collectively, Team Blake is probably my least favorite team left in The Voice.
The Voice coaches’ relationships only appears to be getting more serious.
