In a tweet, Governor Brown said OR will continue to open the doors of opportunity to refugees, saying “the words on the Statue of Liberty apply in OR just as they do in every other state”.

Brown acknowledges other governors are debating the issue of allowing refugees into their states. Top White House officials refused… So far this year, OR has received one refugee.
