The US House of Representatives on Thursday passed a bill adding barriers to Syrian and Iraqi refugees seeking to enter the United States.

Hector Garza, president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 2455, told Breitbart that Border Patrol agents have been contacting his organization regarding reports of other Syrians crossing into Texas through Laredo, but that he could not confirm whether any had actually crossed.
Eight Syrians, members of two families, were taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection earlier this week when they arrived at a Laredo port of entry, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
They will be processed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
DHS says the women and children were taken to a family residential center in Dilley.
Current Texas Gov. Greg Abbott joined more than two dozen governors in his call to block Syrian refugees from being placed in his state and on Wednesday, he also tweeted out a story about the Syrians in Laredo from Breitbart.com.
DHS said, due to privacy issues, it will not provide additional information at this time.
Donald Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, said the incident shows the need for his planned wall between the USA and Mexico, a key tenet of his immigration plan.
Eight Syrians were just caught on the southern border trying to get into the U.S. ISIS maybe?

This comes as lawmakers prepare to vote on suspending the program to bring Syrians into the country and homeland security releases its report on the crisis.
