Xbox Wire, the official Xbox news site, announced the other day that Xbox Live Gold members with Xbox One consoles can play “NBA 2K16” free via the Xbox Live Gold’s Free Play Days. The new story mode, called “Livin’ Da Dream”, proceeds the MyCareer mode. It did not just update on its roster and whip up a new game but actually improved on the gameplay, promising a more authentic and innovative experience.

Players will not have to re-download the game if they decide to purchase it after the trial weekend ends. You will be able to play the entire game for free all weekend on Xbox One and the game will also be on sale all week as part of Microsofts Black Friday promotion in case you enjoy the game so much that you decide you want to buy it.

However, while it was created to deal with game bugs, it instead made the game more hard for players with glitches that afford more advantage to the AI or more disadvantage to the player. If you haven’t purchased National Basketball Association 2K16, but have been wanting to try the game out, then you’re in luck.

Besides ease of losing the ball, a few players took to Reddit to say that they found the game with bugs after the patch.
