Jared Fogle-you know, that guy who lost hella weight eating only Subway sandwiches and was recently arrested for child pornography and attempting to elicit sex from a minor-has a few of the… uh, most interesting defense lawyers in the world.

“Once he lost weight, it seemed as though in a short time he had hypersexuality”, psychiatrist John Bradford said.
He pled guilty to the distribution and receipt of child pornography, as well as traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt sentenced Fogle to 188 months on each count, to be served concurrently – which adds up to a little more than 15 1/2 years.
Fogle, who has an estimated net worth of $15 million, became a Subway spokesman after losing more than 200 pounds by eating the chain’s sandwiches. An investigation into Fogle were followed by a raid of his home and details of his activities were publicly revealed by a female confidante who had worked with the FBI to gather evidence against him.
Fogle has promised to pay each one of his 14 known victims $100,000 each.
The 38-year-old Fogle admitted paying for sex with girls as young as 16 and receiving child pornography produced by his charitable foundation’s former director.
Fogle choked back tears as he lamented betraying his wife, leaving her to raise their two children.
But in the meantime, prosecutors said, Fogle systematically took sexual advantage of numerous minors.
Fogle broke down reading a statement when he discussed the ways that he had hurt his family.
The pornography viewed by Fogle included images of children as young as six, the prosecution has said.
Fogle also said he wants to help sex offenders and inmates after he gets out of prison, according to a reporter tweeting the court proceedings. Ron Elberger, Fogle’s attorney, said he had no immediate comment. She also described him as “privileged” and read a statement from one of Fogle’s victims saying that she contemplated suicide at age 16. Fogle had paid a girl, 17 at the time, for sex multiple times, and the victim said Fogle had sex with another girl, 16 years old at the time, on a separate occasion. Fogle’s attorneys submitted legal docs making their case for the minimum sentence of five years in prison, but were given something much more substantial.
But after Fogle’s home in Zionsville, Ind., was raided in July, Subway announced that the company and Fogle had “mutually agreed to suspend their relationship”.

Authorities ultimately determined that Fogle had received and viewed child pornographer, a few given to him by Taylor, between March 2001 and May 2015.
