1D pay more United Kingdom tax than Facebook

The One Direction fandom didn’t have time to get too excited about their idols’ tax filing though, as they were getting geared up for the release of the band’s fifth album “Made in the A.M.” on Friday.

And as far as the rest of 1D is concerned, Cowell said the news that Louis Tomlinson will become a father was a tough one for the One Direction member to take.

Most importantly, Made in the A.M. shows that One Direction can turn out a successful and diverse LP, even without Malik’s signature falsetto croon, allowing the group to smoothly transition into its post-Zayn era. It’s nearly as if I went back in time to the 60s.

Who doesn’t have a crush on at least one of the guys of One Direction? We are proud to say One Direction brought us together as not only roommates today, but also best friends. I just hadn’t known that before. “We’d written songs but those songs are nothing at that point, they’re not definitely going to make the album, there’s no solid ground, so those songs could be for anybody – like, it’s just a writing session”.

An early mentor and supporter of One Direction while they were just tadpoles in the X Factor pool, Robbie Williams is honored, via his 1998 anthem, in the soaring chorus of “Hey Angel”. Apparently, they wrote every song in the wee hours of the morning, so it seems their album title is appropriate.

So “Made in the A.M.” arrives loaded with heavy-hearted farewell songs. “Walking in the Wind”, takes a page from “Drag Me Down’s” book with an islander sound to the song.

The singles on “Made in the A.M.” compose a few of the album’s best tracks.

A jubilant Simon told the audience: ‘Just my luck I get the award I’ve been wanting all my life and I’m completely hammered. They need a break. Not to say that I don’t love it…my favorite line is “Just me, her, and the moon”. Neither of these things have any direct bearing on the music, but because so much remains to be sorted out during the hiatus, it’s possible that personal interests will come before group ones. In fact, the entire album showcases 1D’s maturing sound and continuing growth both vocally and lyrically, offering something for everyone – even wandering into indie-pop territory on tracks like ‘Temporary Fix’. What followed was textbook boyband, well, kind of; a social media reaction of apocalyptic scale, petty twitter spats between the current and former members, and er, one member’s unexpected foray into parenthood.
