The 66-year-old former Olympian added that one should listen to transgenders’ stories, should hire trans. people in companies, support them and love them equally because they are nothing different.

At vigils across the country today, people are honoring the victims of fatal anti-transgender violence as part of an annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. This somber day must also be a reminder of the urgent need for meaningful action to end this senseless violence.

A number of events are taking place throughout today to remember transgender people who have lost their lives through “transgender hate and prejudice”.

Speaking alongside transgender advocate Chandi Moore, Caitlyn was speaking in the hopes of making the world a safer place for the trans community.
