The No. 4 Jayhawks are traveling to Hawaii to play in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational starting Monday.
After opening his junior season with an explosive shooting performance, coming off the bench for Kansas University’s men’s basketball team, three-point specialist Brannen Greene is back in coach Bill Self’s dog house.
Greene, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound native of Juliette (GA), is averaging 12.0 points in 11.5 minutes this season.
Greene has been stellar early on, hitting all six of his shots from the field – five of them 3-pointers – and 7 of 8 free throws. The NCAA is investigating Diallo’s past curriculum. He attended middle school in Mali before transfering to Our Savior New American in Centereach, N.Y, in the ninth grade.

Diallo was ranked as the seventh best recruit in the 2015 class, according to ESPN, and many people view him as a potential lottery pick in the next National Basketball Association Draft.
