After Brutal Knockout Loss, Rousey

It appears the cold war between professional boxer Floyd Mayweather and the formerly undefeated UFC Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is starting to cool down, at least from Mayweather’s side.

Rousey claimed a bronze medal in judo at the 2008 Beijing Olympics before fighting her way to the top of the UFC and Dolce said she would draw on that experience ahead of a probable re-match against Holm. I don’t have anything against MMA fighters.

“Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to give away any bit of my victory, so I’ll take it. I’ll take the win and I’ll take that I took it dominantly”.

“Ronda’s been a very dominant champ, and she’s taken the sport to new levels”. This was already written. I’m not talking about boxing; I’m just talking about life. When you lose a loved one, that’s taking a loss. “But that doesn’t mean that I wish any harm on her, that doesn’t mean that I wish any hate on her. I think people can be pretty brutal, and when you’re in the spot she’s in, there are people that are just gonna jump ship, and I don’t ever wish for that”.

UFC president Dana White said a rematch between the pair would “make sense”, with a bout in NY in April a possibility if the state legalises mixed martial arts by that point.

Rousey was left in a daze and lying on the floor after the series of punches, leaving even White to be in total disbelief.

“I want Ronda Rousey to hold her head up high and don’t let this discourage you”, he said. “If you need help as far as with boxing, I’m here to help you”. It’s all about timing and inches.

‘Ronda has lost before, she lost at the Olympic Games and I think that was a great test for her and look at how she came back, she came back a multi-time world champion.

Their beef, which seems to be all gone now, had first begun when Mayweather had been asked in a 2014 interview about Rousey and he replied “I don’t even know who he is”.
