Arsenal, Liverpool target Aubameyang makes Reus promise

Aubameyang has scored a remarkable 22 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season. More than enough to spark a transfer rumour frenzy.

The 26-year-old Gabon worldwide has been coveted by Europe’s top sides since he admirably filled the goalscoring boots of Bayern Munich-bound Robert Lewandowski.

Aubameyang would be the first big investment in a striker since Danny Welbeck’s move from Manchester United in 2014. Ever since Jurgen Klopp arrived at Anfield, reports linking the striker to Liverpool have sky-rocketed.

Nolito may well be among the front-runners for a January deal after saying he would not sign a new contract at Celta Vigo, but another name linked with Arsene Wenger’s shopping list is Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

German publication Bild suggests that Aubameyang has promised teammate Reus he will not look to exit Dortmund in January.

“There have been quite a few changes at the club, we’re playing a different type of football from previous years”, Reus told the official UEFA website.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus insists he is happy with his side’s recent form following their poor start to the campaign.

Given his sensational record, our fans believe that Aubameyang would be a stellar acquisition for Arsenal and would be one to push them towards the Premier League title.
