Changes in safety netting • Major League Baseball is close to new recommendations for safety netting at its stadiums for the 2016 season. The game which was originally scheduled for Monday April 4th at 1:35 PM, has been switched to Sunday, April 3rd at 1:05 PM and it will be televised on ESPN.
After the two match-ups in Puerto Rico, Pittsburgh and Miami come back to Florida to end their four game set Wednesday, June 1 and Thursday, June 2 at Marlins Park. Aside from the series in San Juan, May 31 will also feature a league-wide memorial with one nominee per club being announced as a finalist for the 2016 Roberto Clemente Award.
