Malaysian Police Chief Khalid Abu Bakar said Thursday that Malaysia has intensified its security arrangements for the upcoming ASEAN Summit, and the reports of imminent terrorist threats in the country have yet to be confirmed.
A few 4,500 soldiers were deployed or on standby to secure the summit, in addition to thousands of police who have fanned out around the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
“The United States has to have a few humility, because there have been times when we did the wrong thing”, Obama said.
