NOVEMBER 20-Police are searching for the California woman who allegedly robbed a high school student of her iPhone and then used the device to take a series of “selfie” photos that were automatically uploaded to the victim’s cloud storage account.

The teenager had to be hospitalized for her injuries, the paper reported.

When she refused, the victim says that Dowell punched her in the head so hard that she was knocked out.

Police issued an arrested warrant for Dowell and searched for her Thursday.

The victim said that an older female, who she later recognized as Dowell, demanded that she hand over her cell phone and backpack.

Dowell is accused of assaulting an El Cerrito High student, swiping her cellphone and backpack, as the victim was walking eastbound on Central Avenue near Clayton Street, police said.

Several days later, the victim noticed that the women who stole her phone was using it to take selfies, which were uploaded to the victim’s cloud storage account. “We ask that persons with information in regards to the whereabouts of Dowell call the ECPD Investigations Unit at 510-215-4418”.
