Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James Stopped by Milwaukee Bucks & Weird Timeout Call
LeBron James was spectacularly great, firing up 37 points to lead all scorers, but the Bucks countered LeBron’s firepower adequately as Jerryd Bayless and Michael Carter-Williams accounted for 17 points apiece..

James lead all scorers with 37 points, but was held scoreless in the final 3:15 of double overtime.
At the Chesapeake Energy Arena, Russell Westbrook produced his second triple-double of the season with 21 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 102-85 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Cleveland’s defense was able to get a stop when Bayless missed a driving layup with three seconds left but Greg Monroe was able to get the rebound and run out of the clock as the Bucks send the Cavaliers to their second loss of the season. “If I’m on the floor, I’m going to play my game”. There are no moral victories in being 4-6, but considering who we’ve played in these first 10 games, we’ve had chances to win that we just haven’t capitalized on.
All of that went away in the final quarter and overtime, as the isolation heavy offense the Cavs played made the Bucks not worry about the off-ball Cavaliers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo also scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds before he fouled out in the second overtime.
As the Wine and Gold prepare to enter the fourth week of their 2015-16 campaign, cavs.com takes a deeper look at a few of the interesting integers through the first three weeks in this installment of “By the Numbers” presented by Fan Duel. But replays clearly indicate a number of players and coaches jumped off the bench screaming for a timeout. “I granted them the timeout at which I looked at the head coach David Blatt and realized that he hadn’t asked for the timeout”.
Young scored 14 points in the first quarter as the Nets opened a 15-point advantage at 36-21. “We’ve got to do a better job of taking care of the ball, including myself”, James said. “It was almost a one-to-one ratio of assists to turnovers and that’s not good for our team”.
“That’s not why we lost the game, but it’s something you wish you could have back”, he said. “And, we don’t do that. We give a half-assed effort sometimes and expect that we can just make a run at the end”.
We’ve heard often enough about how Kobe Bryant loves to play at Madison Square Garden.
Eric Bledsoe collected 30 points, seven rebounds and four assists as the Phoenix Suns enjoyed an easy 105-81 win over the Denver Nuggets, while Kris Humphries hit a career-high five three-pointers to help the Washington Wizards beat the Orlando Magic 108-99, snapping a three-game losing streak. His performance wasn’t quite up to par with his two 50-point games at MSG, but he did outplay Anthony – who had 26 points – to lead a lackluster Cavaliers squad to yet another win.
James’ charging the Cavs to improve in “every single facet of the game” seems like an overstatement, but let’s weigh Cleveland’s pros and cons thus far to try to get what he’s aiming at.

All five Bucks starters finished in double figures. Parker picked up two fouls in the first 1:53 of the game.
