After all the controversy surrounding the popstar this week, maybe Demi Lovato Replacing Ariana Grande is a good idea!

In a statement, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, the singer says she’s a proud American.

But instead of addressing the alleged donut licking, Grande then added she felt “very upset” about the food habits of Americans and was “frustrated” by child obesity rates.

“We need to do more to educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of overeating and the poison we put in our bodies”. We need to demand more from our food industry. She promised that she will work towards becoming a better role model “with her new responsibility to others as a public figure”. While all of the duo’s friends were in attendance, including Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Jay Z, Grande was a no-show for the event so she could prep for her Grammy Awards performance the next day.

However, according to the singer, she has not been taken off the bill because of the doughnut incident but because she has been suffering with her wisdom teeth.

Though deputies determined that the video showed Grande and another man appearing to “maliciously lick” the doughnuts, the sheriff’s department and the Riverside County Department of Environmental Health were investigating Wolfee Donuts to determine whether the contaminated doughnuts were thrown away or sold to other customers.

Mayra Solis, a worker in the shop told the Associated Press that Grande “was really rude”.

She went on to grunt and say, “I hate Americans”.

She said investigators found no further issues at the shop Wednesday.

What do you think of Big Sean’s reaction to Ariana Grande’s donut video? “I hope to make it up to all those fans soon”, she said.

The Mexican-born businessman, who holds United States citizenship, said he was also irked by her unpatriotic tirade.

Grande, who was born in Florida, expressed regret for offending people with her “poor choice of words”.

The singer closed the letter by clarifying that she is not performing at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game because of a recent emergency oral procedure.
