Carson Palmer: ‘Extra Bit’ On Playing Former Team
Every week we will take a look around the web to find a few of the thoughts of opposing teams’ fans concerning their upcoming game with the Bengals. The Bengals might not be a great football team, but they have played very good football thus far, and they do just about everything well. But if you look at it in terms of a yearly situation, Cincinnati’s record is 1-1 under the lights with three more sundown games to go.

Over at FOX, the entire expert panel has the Cardinals taking home the win on Sunday Night to even their record with the Bengals at 8-2. Via Pro Football Focus, the former first-round pick has given up 32 receptions on the season, including six apiece against Kansas City and Buffalo. It costs, to be the boss.
Top-flight matchup of the week: The Bengals are coming off their first loss of the season to face a Cardinals team that many think is as strong, top to bottom, as any in the league.
“They’ve got everything you need”, Dungy said. Defensive pressure. The Bengals offense couldn’t handle J.J. Watt and the rest of the defense who held their opponents to just two field goals. “They have a solid secondary”. They’re playing with a lot of energy. The Cardinals are the only team in the division above.
At this point I’ve got the Cardinals going 12-3 when they host Seattle for the final game of the season.
Dalton has to be relaxed, for the offense to flow like it should.
Palmer wasn’t going to get into the details of that long-ago blowup with the Bengals owner.
Palmer and the Bengals had an ugly divorce, and the 35-year-old quarterback can’t wait to play against them this week. Getting him connected with Tyler Eifert will help them both erase the Houston nightmare.
It doesn’t always work out as planned, but it has often set the tone for the game. The exotic shifts and formations led to confusion and penalties.
The visiting team is 1-7 SU and 2-6 ATS in the last eight games between the Cardinals and Bengals per the OddsShark NFL Database. The Cards managed themselves well without a rushing attack which should be bad news for the Bengals.
The Bengals aren’t looking for Waldo.
Marshawn Lynch (Running Back): Lynch struggled as he only saw 8 carries throughout the whole game and his trip into the end zone saved his fantasy day. It would be surprising to see the Bengals try blitzes, stunts and other games to confuse the two of them. That won’t sustain long ball control drives. That’s what I have hope in: “We’ve been able to come out of the trenches before, out of the gutter, so to speak, and fight our way back”.
“We’ve not only sold it out, but we’ve created an atmosphere that is the most intimidating atmosphere to come into as a visiting team”. But since his return, the unit is downright scary. After a 234-yard, three-touchdown performance in a 31-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football, Dalton had a 197-yard, no-touchdown, one-interception performance in a 10-6 loss on Monday Night Football. Veteran running back Chris Johnson, who signed with the Cardinals in the middle of training camp, is putting up 4.4 yards per carry and ranks second in the league with 734 total yards. A December 6 trip to Minnesota could certainly have playoff implications and there are a couple of tricky match-ups on either side of that against the Steelers in Seattle and at Baltimore to conclude a two-week road trip against purple people.

This is a big test on a big stage, and the Cardinals are acting like a team that lives for big tests on big stages. Brown will likely be eased back into action.
