Running back Josh Adams rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, including a record-setting 98-yard score, and No. 4 Notre Dame cruised to a 28-7 win over Wake Forest on Saturday. “It’s always great to get a win for your seniors in their last home game”, Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said. “That just means this group of offensive linemen got the longest run in Notre Dame history”.

While the rest of the potential playoff participants are playing in conference championship games or, in the case of the Big 12, would-be championship games, Notre Dame will be sitting home.
