(Politico) Scott Walker is running for president, he announced in what appeared to be an unintentional tweet on Friday. The social media site is investigating.

Gov. Scott Walker plans to sign the state budget on Sunday, just a day before he’s expected to announce a presidential bid. Join our staff right now”, Walker stated in a tweet accompanied by a picture of him waving with the headline: “Scott Walker is running for president.
Walker staffers were coy about the announcement on Twitter, referencing coverage of the accidental post without commenting further on a presidential run. A Twitter representative said in an emailed statement, “We are looking into today’s issue, and we have determined the Walker team was not at fault”.
He is set to become the 15th Republican presidential candidate after he re-confirms his intentions Monday.

They came second to Bush and Rand Paul, who tied second place with 11 per cent each, and Trump on top with 15. He holds a commanding lead in recent polling of the Iowa caucuses.
