Israeli Father and Son Shot And Killed In Ambush Near Hebron
Jihad Shawar, the director of Al-Ahli hospital in the West Bank city of Hebron, said more than 20 undercover Israeli forces posing as locals, including one pretending to be a woman in labor, entered the hospital overnight. The mother had light injuries to the chest and limbs; a son sustained a gunshot wound in the leg and three young girls had minor scratches, he said.

The Israeli military released a statement saying that Abdullah Shalaldah had attacked Israeli forces, but did not specify whether he was armed.
Soldiers also shot dead a man near the West Bank city of Ramallah yesterday, the Palestinian health ministry said.
On Thursday, Israel’s supreme court gave a green light to the destruction of five homes belonging to Palestinians accused of taking part in deadly attacks against Israelis. The other appears to be pregnant and has her hand on her lower back as she walks with the group of men.
At least one other person, a teenager, was wounded in the same attack, Bin said.
“Their mission is basically to undermine the enemy, terrorize the enemy, not make the enemy feel safe where he is and to apprehend the enemy”, said Samuel M. Katz, whose book, “The Ghost Warriors: Inside Israel’s Undercover War Against Suicide Terrorism”, chronicles the actions of Yamas during the second Palestinian uprising a decade ago.
Israeli police said the incident took place near the settlement of Otniel, south of Hebron.
Israeli forces have responded with force, using live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas and stun grenades against protesters.
An Israeli father and his teenage son, heading to Sabbath services Friday, were shot to death by a Palestinian gunman as a weeks-old campaign of anti-Israel violence raged on. Twelve Israelis have been killed in a spate of attacks by Palestinians, while 78 Palestinians have been killed, 50 of them said by Israel to be attackers, and the remainder killed in clashes with Israeli forces.
The Israeli forces then threatened another patient at gunpoint, handcuffed another relative to a bed and then left the hospital with Azzam Shalaldah in a wheelchair. During a visit by Netanyahu to the White House Monday, the U.S. president endorsed the crackdown, condemning in “the strongest terms Palestinian violence”, while reaffirming his “strong belief that Israel has not just the right, but the obligation to protect itself”.
Yesterday saw three Palestinians die after being shot by troops.

They also include minimum jail terms for Palestinian stone-throwers, looser rules of engagement for the army and the withholding of the bodies of alleged attackers to prevent their funerals becoming political rallies. But it’s rare for their activities to be captured so vividly on camera.
