“I would certainly implement that, absolutely”, he said in on-camera comments.

When asked repeatedly how his idea would be different than what the Nazis did to the Jews and other minorities before World War II in Germany, Trump repeated “You tell me” to reporters.
He says things that anger lots of people.
Trump’s comments have come amidst renewed concerns over security following the attack last week in Paris by the Islamic State that killed 129 and a political battle over the plans of the U.S.to take in over 10,000 Syrian refugees.
“We are not well served when, in response to a terrorist attack, we descend into fear and panic”, Obama said earlier on Wednesday. “That’s not strength, that’s weakness”.
Real-estate mogul Donald Trump stressed on Friday that he had not proposed the idea of having a database for Muslim Americans after he was widely criticized for appearing open to the idea.
The American Jewish Committee issued a statement calling Trump’s idea “outrageous” and “un-American”. “The First Amendment protects religious liberty, and I’ve spent the past several decades defending the religious liberty of every American”.
The NY Times reports that after Trump’s interview with Yahoo News dropped, the business tycoon doubled down on his stance regarding illegal immigration and citizen registration, making it crystal clear that it’s not something he’s just considering, it’s something that would happen under his leadership. In a video posted on MSNBC.com, Trump was asked whether Muslims would be required to register.
“We will not destroy ISIS (the Islamic State) by undermining the Constitution and our religious freedoms”, Sanders said.
Trump supporters Betty and Terry Phelps, of Lisco, Nebraska, said the database made sense. “We’re going to have to look very, very carefully”, Mr Trump told Yahoo News.
He also ignored a question on whether there would be consequences for Muslims who do not register.
“I think we should have a database on everybody who comes into this country”, Carson told reporters on Friday in New Hampshire, where he filed to be on the primary ballot.
Interviewer: I’m with NBC News.
“One of the hallmarks of America is that we treat everyone the same”, Carson said, adding later, “I favor doing whatever we need to do to protect the American people”.
Clinton slammed Trump’s remarks as “shocking rhetoric”.
“We’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely”.

Ben Carson, now second in recent national polling, suggested this morning in Alabama that trying to distinguish terrorists among Syrian refugees coming into the US would be like having “a rabid dog running around your neighborhood”.
