Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says no Premier League opponent can be underestimated and the table is an irrelevance ahead of matches.
Three points against West Brom will put Arsenal clear at the top with City’s game against Liverpool later in the day, so there can be no room for complacency as we enter a run of eminently winnable games. That game was a 2-0 victory back in October of 2005.
Arsenal will have to fight off a stingy defense managed by the stingy Tony Pulis.
Wenger firmly believes that his team has what it takes to taste Premier League glory once again, and with quality in all areas of the pitch, it is easy to see why.
The Gunners return to action with a trip to The Hawthorns after the global break as they look to return to winning ways following their 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
Defensive solidity has also shone through when the Gunners aren’t at the Emirates, as they’ve kept clean sheets in half of those games this campaign.
“What I will want from him is that he’s completely committed and feels ready”.
West Brom’s mission will be to stop them. Per Arsenal.com, he insisted he had been impressed by the midlands outfit.
“Today, when you play away in the Champions League, most of the time we lose two hours when there is a doping control because people can not fulfil the (urine) tests”, he added.
Arsene Wenger has moved to deny that negotiations are ongoing at the moment, but Arsenal fans will be desperately hoping he’s bluffing.
Gareth McAuley is suspended for the Baggies following his red card against Manchester United, but Chris Brunt is fit after a groin problem.
Alexis Sanchez is expected to start for Arsenal in the Premier League game against West Brom on Saturday.
The good news is Ramsey’s frail hamstring is restored and he returns to full training on Monday.
Wenger will assess Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud’s readiness to play after the pair’s involvement for France during the global break.

In goal, we know that we will see Petr Cech because unless he has only one arm, he will always represent Arsenal’s best goalkeeping option. However, his recovery since then has been superb.
