Arizona State University students spent the night on the streets of Tempe in anticipation of the Territorial Cup football game.

Devin Lucien caught a 58-yard pass and scored a 59-yard touchdown, leading Arizona State to a 14-0 lead over the visiting Arizona Wildcats in Saturday’s battle for the Territorial Cup at Sun Devil Stadium. The Sun Devils showed grit in overcoming a 17-0 deficit last week to win 27-17 despite three defensive injuries plus linebackers Antonio Longino and Salamo Fiso at less than full health.
This year, students at the University of Arizona were fooled by a few ASU students into supporting fake legislation that would return the Tucson school to Mexico’s possession. Even better, for entertainment purposes, they filmed the whole thing.
We screwed up. Yes we’re ashamed, but we aren’t going to hide it. Rather, we applaud the ASU students who pulled this off. A proposition to give the UA back to Mexico – signed by UA students – probably would be pretty amusing (if only we were ASU fans).
