Two Israelis and one Palestinian killed near Hebron
The director of Hebron’s al-Ahly hospital, Jehad Shawar, condemned the Israelis for breaching all worldwide laws by invading the safe space. Another was dressed as a pregnant woman, walking slowly and holding her back. In September he said, “Every drop of blood spilled in Jerusalem is pure, every martyr will reach paradise, and every injured person will be rewarded by God”.

Palestinian officials, however, expressed outrage over the killing of the man Health Minister Jawad Awad identified as 27-year-old Abdallah Shalaldeh. One of his Cabinet members called it “disguised anti-Semitism” and even Israeli opposition figures chimed in with criticism. The clashes have also killed more than a dozen Israelis.
“The situation is very bad here”, Issa Amro, coordinator of the Hebron-based Youth Against Settlements activist group, said by phone.
Yet polls show a majority of Israelis continue to support a two-state resolution in exchange for peace.
The Palestinian death toll since the beginning of October has climbed to 86, including 18 children, while 14 Israelis have been killed in stabbing and running-over attacks carried out by Palestinians. Friday also saw three Palestinians die after being shot by Israeli soldiers.
The Israeli military said troops shot a man at the hospital while they were there to arrest a suspect in a stabbing attack.
Earlier Friday, a Palestinian teenager in Hebron succumbed to his wounds after being shot by Israeli troops a day earlier.
For the Palestinians, the Israeli security crackdown is the harshest in a decade.
The southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron was the second city on the list of the most detentions, with 70 Palestinians detained, including 50 minors. Instead, they must tell consumers they come from a “settlement” in the territories, which were captured by Israel in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. They put the other patients in the corner and tied my hands with a belt.
Israel claimed that Azzam al-Shalalda was in the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds he sustained when he allegedly tried to stab an Israeli settler two weeks ago.
“They held the staff at gunpoint and stormed the room of Shalalda”, Mr Shawar said.
Nigeria’s military said Friday that it killed 11 Boko Haram Islamist insurgents in separate clashes and rescued 61 abducted captives.
“Forces are now searching for assailant”, the tweet said. That said, there’s been no official shoot-to-kill order. He escaped by vehicle after the shooting. “We are proud of what they did”, said Mahmoud Kussa, the brother of one of the Palestinian attackers.

The violence was originally focused in and around Jerusalem but has recently shifted to Hebron and its surrounding areas.
