Pitt rescinds honorary degree from Cosby
All four women said that after they came forward with their stories of abuse, Cosby’s representatives publicly branded them as liars and their comments were labeled as “absurdity”. Over in MA, since Cosby lost a bid to dismiss a libel claim last month, more than a half dozen other women have filed defamation lawsuits against him. Instead, a lawyer for three women already named as plaintiffs in the lawsuit filed a notice in court saying four new plaintiffs will be added.

Tarshis, 67, claims Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her backstage on the set of “The Cosby Show” in 1979.
The Cosby team, which has said virtually nothing in public since accusations first resurfaced past year that he drugged and raped scores of women decades ago, finally had something to say, even if it was only legal jargon.
Bill Cosby celebrated a rare legal win Friday, after a California appeals judge stayed, at least temporarily, an order for him to sit for a deposition in accuser Janice Dickinson’s defamation civil suit against him.
The comedian allegedly told her he was impressed by her work and “implied that he was going to see to it that I will become a major star through his direction”.
The comedian was sued in two states by AIG Property Casualty Company, which argued that when it agreed to cover Cosby for “personal injury”, defined in a homeowner policy as including “defamation, libel, or slander”, that this didn’t mean a denial of allegations of sexual abuse.
Former model Bowman, 48, alleges Cosby sexually assaulted her three times in the 1980s. But during the course of the mentorship, Bowman claims she was the victim of multiple nonconsensual sexual encounters by Cosby, including walking up half-dressed and trying to rape her in a hotel room.
“I was incredibly shaken by that”, Tarshis, a NY resident, said Friday. In October, Cosby was deposed in a lawsuit filed by another accuser, Judy Huth, who says she was sexually assaulted by the comedian in the ’70s when she was only 15.
