Ahmet Dahmani: Suspected ISIS Scout Of Paris Attacks Arrested In Turkey
Ahmad Dahmani, 26, is accused of being “in contact” with the Islamist extremists who carried out the attacks in Paris that killed 130 people and were claimed by Islamic State (IS) jihadists, the official added.

The Anadolu Agency stated early Sat.in that the 2 Syrians & the Belgian national – identified as Ahmet D. – have been detained near the Turkish coastal city of Antalya. The report also said that two other people, both Syrian citizens, were detained on suspicion of “aiding and abetting” ISIS.
According to Turkey’s Dogan news agency, the suspected Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) operative is believed to have scouted out targets for the Paris attacks. However this was not confirmed by the government official.
The two men reportedly had been sent by the Sunni militant group to ensure Dahmani’s safe passage across the border and were planning to meet him.
It was not immediately clear when they had been detained.
The three suspected Islamic militants will remain in custody following a court appearance.
Antalya had only one week ago hosted – under the heaviest security – the annual Group of 20 summit of world leaders including US President Barack Obama and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Isis used the chaos of Syria’s almost five-year civil war to seize territory in Syria and Iraq, where a US-led coalition has been bombing the militants for more than a year, while Russian Federation began air strikes in Syria in September. The list, which is maintained by Turkish authorities, is largely based on foreign intelligence.
Turkish police arrested three suspected Daesh members in the southern province of Antalya on Friday, police said.

Belgian authorities had not warned Turkey about Dahmani, and so he wasn’t on the list of 26,600 names prohibited entry into Turkey. “The investigation continues”, he said.
