“Hunger Games” is also one of the only major film franchises to incorporate a female heroine in Katniss Everdeen, who has not only been a role model for little girls but has helped make Jennifer Lawrence into the biggest actress in Hollywood. The film only earned $16 million in its opening screenings in cinemas.

The first Hunger Games was terrific: fresh and exciting, the unsavoury tale of children being coerced into killing children paved the way for how Young Adult dystopia should look, and then spawned too many similarly-themed franchises. “The Night Before”, a Christmas comedy, is expected to debut with $13 million and the thriller “Secret in Their Eyes” with $8 million. Of course, as the army of the rebellion grows stronger an near their final target, the danger increases with a deadly trap around every corner as Katniss and her team move closer and closer to the Capitol’s center. Though most reviews say the movie is fast-paced and high-energy, they also describe the film as “grim”, “bleak” and “dark”.
“Mockingjay Part 2” film is now holding the number one slot in 66 out of the 68 territories it is playing in. Following 2012’s “Hunger Games”, Lawrence’s box office average skyrocketed to $218.2 million. The main leads of this movie are Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. “It’s a bond created through trauma and needing comfort in these terrible situations”, said director Francis Lawrence.
Even less time is spent with the supporting characters who enriched the first two films, who seemingly show up for a cameo in their own franchise.

The Hunger Games series is a combination four science -fiction films. Early reports have indicated that Star Wars: The Force Awakens might have a chance at breaking the record set by World. That statement isn’t entirely true in regards to Mockingjay – Part 2, as it is a better and much more entertaining movie than Mockingjay – Part 1, although that isn’t saying a lot. She was elected to be part of death game. Other cast members include Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson and Julianne Moore. But since the moments immediately following the end of Katniss’ “Kill Snow” mission included one final violent showdown between Katniss and the Presidents Snow and Coin, it wasn’t until much later that we got to see Katniss grieve – with a cat.
